My band needed a road case for our three Crown power amps. Our needs were simple, we were on a budget but we needed something that just plain worked. After checking out the cases from some of the top-brand manufacturers, the Seismic Audio case caught my eye. It looked like solid construction, and it was less than half the price. Sold!

I knew that I had saved a stack of money, but was hoping that the case would at least hold up well. I got that and more. This case is easily the same quality, if not better, than the $400+ cases from the other guys. The case looks great, and is built like a tank! Trust me, you will not regret buying from Seismic Audio and saving a bunch of cash!

I ordered this, along with some shelves and a rackmount power supply to manage my home media server, amp, and the connections.

Pros:
Caster panel easy to set up, comes with silver rack screws for setting up your equipment, looks very nice.

Cons:
Really wish there was some sort of panel you could drop into the bottom, so you didn't scratch up whatever you put on the bottom U. As it stands, if you set something in the bottom U, it'll scrape against the bolts for the caster board.

Other Thoughts:
The case does feel flimsy when you unpack it and take the ends off. It takes a lot of its transit strength from having stuff mounted inside it, and from the rigid, sturdy ends.

got mine just now,,build quality is sub standard,wiggles a lot,thin wood used not even made of mdf,rack mounting holes not alligned.only got to put 1 amp perfectly the rest of the holes do not match-up perfecty,have to drill new holes,have to re-inforce it to add strenght to carry 2 amps and 4 processors.expensive for this cheaply made rack..if your going to buy this be prepared to put some labor work into it..

update 11/24/11..im bumping it to 4stars cause i know its not the best out there,but because they shipped it free i know how the shipping of these things cost! so im happy with it anyways..i can get a better rack out there but for the price and shipping fee?? it will cost an arm.. this is already a steal..happy with this..well what can we expect for a sub $200 value..just re-inforce it and its ok..
