NGK Powerdex AFX Wideband Air-Fuel Ratio Monitor is manufactured to make fuel delivery adjustment to the vehicle’s carburetor, mechanical fuel injection, or programmable electronic fuel injection system. This set up is a tool and not a toy, it does not look cool and have funky neon lights to attract bimbos. It does not install into your dash like a gauge because it is an afr monitor for engine tuning and a damn fine one too. My one and only gripe is that it came with only one oxygen sensor bung and plug and I needed two. A very good tool for engine tuning.

This is a no-nonsense AFR gauge. It plugs in, it works, it shows you what you need to know, which is great since that's all I needed.

My only, and biggest, gripe is that it peaks out at 16:1 AFR. Anyone who knows air/fuel ratios knows that that is a VERY small window for looking at the lean AFR.

This is extremely limiting when trying to set your lean cruise. Some carburetors run at 16:1 - 17:1 AFR for better gas mileage and you can't even see it with this gauge.

I also have a lean spike right off acceleration. How lean is it? Do I need a tad more fuel? Do I need a lot? I don't know. The gauge peaks out at 16:1.

Keep this in mind when purchasing this gauge because it is a big drawback. Other than that, it works fantastic.
